Teaching

As well as being a full-time orchestral musician with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, I teach out of my home in Broomfield, Colorado.

Throughout my years of training, I have cultivated a love and passion for teaching.  I have found that for me to truly understand a new technique on the violin, I must be able to explain it in a way that someone else can learn from.  This has allowed me to hone my pedagogical skills and become both a better teacher and player.  I strive to focus both on musical expression and technical development in a meaningful way that will have a lasting impact on all facets of students' lives.

When you become part of my violin studio, you not only gain my expertise from years of performing and studying but you are also able to absorb the multitude of interpretations, styles, and techniques that I have learned from the many masters of violin and chamber music that I have studied with.

Prospective students who are interested in enrolling in my studio should set up an initial trial lesson.  This allows us time to meet and talk about my teaching style, your goals and ambitions, and any other questions that you might have about being a part of the studio.  I am currently at capacity, but if you are an intermediate to advanced student, please contact me about getting added to my waitlist.
